About the contest
The Edge Boost Average Joe Contest (the "Contest") is a contest based on the 2026-27 college and pro football season (the "Season") designed for participants to demonstrate their skill at making correct selections against the spread and totals on games. It will be played by accessing the VSiN.com web site and complying with the following Official Rules.
Participants are awarded points by making correct predictions as detailed below. The grand prize goes to the participant with the most points at the conclusion of the Season. To be eligible for the grand prize, participants must complete registration on VSiN.com.
VSiN is owned and operated by the Vegas Sports Information Network, LLC. The Contest is not affiliated with or sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association or the National Football League.
Who can enter
The Contest is open only to United States residents of the forty eight (48) contiguous United States and Washington D.C., but is void in Alaska, Hawaii and elsewhere as may be prohibited by law. Participants must also be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of legal majority in their state of primary residence at time of registration.
Each individual email address is entitled to one Contest entry. Each Participant must be either the rightful owner of the e-mail address identified in the Participant's registration form or have specific permission to use the email address from the owner of the email account at the time of registration. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the decision of VSiN shall be final.
There are no entry fees or required purchases to participate. Participants must be registered VSiN.com users so they can log into the Contest platform. Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of VSiN and its respective parent company, and their immediate family members, are ineligible to participate.
Registration opens Tuesday, August 25 at 12:01 a.m. PT at VSiN.com. The Contest runs Friday, September 11 through Monday, January 25, 2027 (20 weeks).
How plays are scored
1.5Winning Best Bet One per week. The Best Bet point total is the first tiebreaker.
0.5Canceled or postponed game All games, including postponed games, must be played by the following Thursday.
0Missed the weekly deadline Zero points for the entire week.
0No Best Bet designated Zero for that week's Best Bet record.
Lines & deadlines
Use the Circa Sports lines posted at 10 a.m. PT on Fridays. All contestants are using the same lines.
All plays must be submitted via VSiN.com no later than 8 a.m. PT each Saturday. Any contestant who misses the deadline gets zero points for the week.
Quarterly schedule
Each contest week runs Thursday through Wednesday. Five weeks make a quarter.

Tiebreakers
Applied in this order for the grand, weekly and quarterly prizes.
- Action points Example: you have the Bears +7 and they lose 35-0, that is negative 28 points. You have the Packers -7 and they win 42-10, that is plus 25 points.

Full terms, releases and privacy
The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, each Participant shall be bound by these Official Rules. By participating in this Contest and/or by accepting any prize, each Participant agrees to release and indemnify VSiN, its respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, units and divisions and advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers; each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees; and each of these companies and individuals' respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Contest and/or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. Acceptance of a prize authorizes VSiN and their assigns to use his/her name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, throughout the universe in perpetuity, or on a winner's list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) late, lost, misdirected, postage-due, incomplete, unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections.
Any personal information supplied by Participants will be subject to VSiN's privacy policy. By participating in the Contest, all Participants grant Sponsor permission to share Participant's email addresses and any other personally identifiable information for the purpose of contest administration and prize fulfillment.
